Great Things We Noticed: 

• Paulina helping us with our attendance procedures! 
• Ms. Cardenas doing Fun Friday with her students! 
• A certain family in Ms. OK' s and Ms. Haas's class FINALLY connecting! 
• Eddie Bernal our Campus Supervisor (on loan from Arlington) connecting with families and getting students engaged! 
• PTA bringing us cookies on Friday! (Stop by Tuesday and have one!)!
• Labor Day Weekend!

• Here is the RIMS AE Virtual Resource for the week of September 3, 2020-September 10, 2020.
• Virtual Teachers:  If you need translation help for students from other sites, please contact Nelva first.  If it is a language other than Spanish, please contact Carrie or Longi for assistance. 
• Sites have a great opportunity to get extra scholarship money for teachers, counselors, school nurses and PTA volunteers! Grant money is also available for your school’s cultural arts, healthy lifestyles, outreach translation and parent education programs. Applications are due October 1st. • ALL RUSD students, staff, teachers, and principals are invited to join the RUSD Mega Virtual Choir. We are looking for 1,000+ participants to join us to sing "Stand By Me." We need your voice! No singing experience necessary! Submissions due Sept. 14. Visit bit.ly/rusdmegachoir for more info.
• More student supplies will be going out soon - If you are interested in adding to the newest deliveries please contact Carrie, Longi or Lisa.  We do not have a date for pick up and will let you know ASAP.

• Mark your calendars - 9/23 Team Meeting from 2:30-3:30 in the virtual world and with Lake Matthews Elementary - We are excited to collaborate with Lake Matthews!
