Focus:

We all know the importance of writing across content areas and grade levels.  Sometimes, the emphasis on writing is focused on long response or process writing, but any opportunity for students to apply their language skills is important.  Edutopia had an interesting and short article on the power of short writing assignments and how to use these short writing assignments in the classroom.  Enjoy!
