UCR’s School of Education and KQED are teaming up at UCR Extension to teach a course called “Youth & Civic Media.” It runs from April 1st through May 26th. There are two scholarships available for RUSD teachers. They will earn 4 units and present the lessons they develop in the course at RUSD’s 2nd Annual Civics Kickoff Day in August. Course is under Instruction Elementary - 00-06TK-2 ELA/ELD Wonders Adoption Implementation Training–(Grade) Launch Day 1
Enroll in the course and fill out a Conference Request form if a sub is required
All elementary teachers must attend one day of the Spring Launch Day 1 training.
The dates are grade level specific and teams are encouraged to sign up together.
Dates may have multiple sessions depending on substitute availability.
